Established in 1986, the Element Gary laboratory services the steel industry, fabricators and processors. 

Our engaged experts can perform a wide range of chemical testing on solid parts, an extensive array of metallurgical evaluations including image analysis capabilities and a multitude of mechanical tests like tensile testing, impacts, jominys, bends and drop weight tests.  The facility also has a large scale macroetch operation.
