Experience
- As a director of Virology and Molecular Services at Element, Sunil manages a GMP-compliant lab, developing and validating virology and molecular biology assays for the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
- Before joining Element, Sunil generated recombinant viruses as vaccine vectors and secured NIH and USDA/NIFA grants for extensive research in veterinary virology.
- In his previous role, Sunil led a team in cloning and expressing proteins, developing functional assays, and screening drug candidates. He also developed reverse genetics systems for Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus and secured funding for research on viral pathogenesis.
